You might think that Podcasts are for people who have a little bit too much time on their hand but truth be told, Podcasters are SAVVY. Now more than ever we are consuming Podcasts a lot more frequently, and they have garnered over 15.6 million listeners in 2020 so the popularity of them is soaring! The time has never been so ripe to start you’re own Podcast. Here’s 5 Reasons why you should start a Podcast alongside your Business…

    But it wouldn’t harm to try it out! As a small business you will always have that personable power that bigger brands can’t emulate so putting a real voice behind will only tighten that bond you have with your ideal client. Remember people buy from people and research shows that most customers need at least 7 or 8 touch points with you before they decide buy from your business – a Podcast could be one of those amazing touch points for them.

    A Podcast would show even more people that you are an expert in your field. By showing people you have the credibility within your Business and Industry, it is going to fill them with confidence that they should be buying from you. And, as you gain momentum, in time you might even be able to charge more!

    Podcasts are an open-ended book. Yes, you can of course niche down to something really specific, but you also don’t have to pigeon hole yourself! Your Podcast could be chatting about self-care but you may have products such as essential oils and candles or even have a yoga business that would fit nicely within that domain that would effortlessly slip in to the conversation. Think outside of the box because if your topic resonates with one person, they’ll spread the word to others!
